To confirm your tour with Exceptional Voyage, a deposit is required at the time of booking. For Tanzania lodge safaris, a 30% deposit of the total tour cost is required, while Kilimanjaro climbs and other tours require a 10% confirmation deposit.
The remaining balance must be settled at least 24 hours prior to your departure date, either by bank transfer or cash payment.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Exceptional Voyage. The following cancellation terms apply:
Cancellations made 6 weeks or more before departure: 20% of the total booking cost will be retained, and the remaining balance will be refunded.
Cancellations made between 3 to 4 weeks before departure: 50% of the total package cost will be retained.
Cancellations made less than 2 weeks before departure: 100% of the total package cost will be retained, and any outstanding payments will become immediately payable.
Exceptional Voyage acts as an agent for all travel arrangements and shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, delay, or damage arising from circumstances beyond its control, including accidents, illness, weather conditions, mechanical failures, acts of God, political or social unrest, or other unforeseen events.
Travelers are responsible for ensuring they meet all travel requirements, including valid passports, visas, vaccinations, and compliance with local laws and regulations. The company does not guarantee third-party services such as transport schedules, accommodation availability, or baggage handling.
By confirming a booking, travelers acknowledge and accept all associated risks related to travel and adventure activities, and agree to release Exceptional Voyage and its partners from any liability arising during the trip.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers. It should cover trip cancellations, delays, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and loss or damage to personal belongings to ensure peace of mind throughout your journey.
